One of the biggest projects for the upcoming Las Vegas Formula 1 race will take place this week.

Crews will be installing a huge temporary bridge on Flamingo Road over Koval Lane during the next couple of weeks.

According to the Nevada Department of Transportation, about 52,000 vehicles travel through the intersection every day. The four-lane, 760 ft. structure will allow approved traffic to cross over the race track during the race.

Those allowed to use the bridge are hotel employees and guests with proper credentials.

The intersection of Flamingo and Koval will experience partial and full road closures through Oct. 25 for the installation of the temporary vehicular bridge.
