Formula 1 on Tuesday revealed repaving plans for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November.
The phased approach will begin on April 2 on Sands Avenue, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported, and that will run through April 7. Then, work begins on the southbound Las Vegas Strip from April 9 though May 19.
According to the Review-Journal, Terry Miller of Miller Project Management said the Strip will not be fully shut down during construction. Crews will work on two lanes at a time.
Then, work will be done on Harmon Avenue from May 22 to May 26, and Koval Lane will see work after that, from June 11 to June 16.
From June 19 to June 30, "the initial paving of the circuit within the paddock site, located at the intersection of Koval and Harmon, is set to take place," the paper reported.
The last phase of road work will be Aug. 21 to Aug. 25 around the MSG Sphere.
The race is planned for Nov. 16 through 18. Additional tickets are expected to go on sale later this month.
