Lois Tarkanian passed last November while serving as a regent for the Nevada System of Higher Education.
Lois had served on the Las Vegas City Council and Clark County School District Board of Trustees. A ceremony before the Runnin' Rebels' regular-season opener against UT Martin on Nov. 4 will make the change official.
