Nevada explorers: Check out the state’s new trail finder site

Nevada Trail Finder
Nevada Trail Finder
Nevada Trail Finder website.

Love the outdoors but don’t know where to start in Southern Nevada?

Multiple agencies got together to launch Nevada Trail Finder, the state's first comprehensive map of recreational trails.

The map is only available on the web for now, but it acts as a one-stop-shop for public lands. The platform includes detailed trail descriptions where you can find tips, details, tools and maps for offline use.

It features 150 trail systems throughout the state, but new trails will be added on a regular basis.

To use it, simply click the area you want to explore, then on the trail map, click on trailheads, vistas, parking locations, campgrounds and more.

The site was launched by Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; The Great Basin Institute; Travel Nevada; Bureau of Land Management; and U.S. Forest Service.
