Las Vegas police looking for suspect who shot, killed four horses in Red Rock

Las Vegas police said they're looking for a person suspected of shooting and killing horses in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Four horses have been killed since January, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the most recent on July 4.

The nighttime shootings happened at Cowboy Trail Rides. In each shooting, police said the suspect fully covers their face and hands, and wore ear protection.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. 

"The shootings are clearly intentional and at close range," police said.
