In a media environment where weekly newspapers are folding, one publisher seeks to keep them alive. 

Jimmy Boegle, a journalist and publisher in the Palm Springs area, just acquired the Reno News & Review

At the start of the pandemic, the alternative weekly stopped publishing and drastically reduced its online content. 

But Boegle, a Reno native who got his journalism start at the Northern Nevada paper, wants to breathe new life into it.
