Las Vegas Links COVID-19 Plan, Vaccinations; Variants Up In Reno

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Lawmakers in Las Vegas are linking plans to fully lift capacity and distancing restrictions beginning May 1 with vaccination rates in the state's key tourism region.

In Reno, business occupancy limits could soon be removed and distancing rules made voluntary.

County lawmakers in the state's most populous areas approved plans Tuesday for consideration by the state's COVID-19 Response Task Force. Coronavirus mitigation measures switch to local control on May 1.
