No Serious Injuries After Fire Erupts In Las Vegas Walmart

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say one person suffered minor injuries after a fire inside a Las Vegas Walmart sent shoppers evacuating.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue says a fire was reported Sunday shortly before 8 p.m. in the paper towel aisle of a Walmart Supercenter on Charleston Boulevard.

Firefighters managed to contain the fire within the aisle and extinguish it. They say one person was injured while trying to leave the store.

That person was treated by an ambulance at the scene. Investigators have not released a cause for the blaze. An estimate of damages also wasn't immediately known Monday.
