Spring Creek Man Identified As Victim Of Nevada Avalanche

ELKO, Nev. (AP) — Authorities have identified the snowmobiler who was killed in an avalanche in the Ruby Mountains over the weekend as a 19-year-old Spring Creek man.

The Elko County sheriff's office said Wednesday Ethan Lulay's body was recovered Sunday after a brief closure of Lamoille Canyon southeast of Elko.

He had been snowmobiling with two other men Saturday morning near Castle Lake in the mountains above the canyon in the Ruby Mountain Wilderness Area.
