Becker To Run Against Lee For Nevada's 3rd US House Seat

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas attorney who unsuccessfully ran for the Nevada Legislature in 2020 is setting her sights on the U.S. Congress.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Republican April Becker has filed to run in 2022 in the state's 3rd Congressional District. The seat has been held since 2018 by Democratic Rep. Susie Lee.

Becker told the newspaper that she looks forward to highlighting the differences between herself and Lee over the next 21 months and says "Nevadans will have a clear choice when it comes to picking their next representative."

Lee's campaign says she is confident her constituents will support her in 2022.
