Suspect Arrested For Vandalism At Reno, Sparks Courthouses

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — Police have arrested one of two men suspected of throwing rocks and breaking windows at courthouses in Reno and Sparks.

A second suspect remains at large. Sparks police said Monday they were looking for two men who damaged a window at Sparks Justice Court next door to the Sparks police headquarters at about 1:14 a.m. Friday.

Police said they later determined that shortly after that incident, the same car and suspects were observed throwing rocks and breaking windows at Washoe County district court in downtown Reno. Damaged caused there was estimated at $1,300.

A joint investigation resulted in the arrest Tuesday of 23-year-old Derek Kuchler.
