UNLV's football game against Colorado State has been canceled after an outbreak of COVID-19 cases within the UNLV program.
The Mountain West Conference made the announcement Wednesday.
Four positive tests prompted the league to call off the game, which was set for Saturday.
In a statement, UNLV Athletic Director Desiree Reed-Francois agreed with the league’s decision, saying it was “in the best health and safety interests of all involved” to cancel.
