Early Voting Begins With Long Lines In Clark County

There were long lines at polling places over the weekend at most of the 35 voting centers in Clark County, as early in-person voting got underway.

More than 50,000 people cast their ballots, during the first two days of early voting.

County election officials said that on Saturday, just over 27,000 voted, and some 23,000 turned out on Sunday. There will be 48 voting sites open at various times through October 30.

People can vote using the voting machines or drop off their mail ballots, which were sent to all active registered voters in Clark County.

Those ballots can also be sent through regular mail using the postage-paid envelopes provided. There will be 125 voting sites open on Election Day November 3.
