Las Vegas Teen Fatally Shot In Fight Over Video Game

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Nevada have reported a 16-year-old boy was fatally shot during a fight over a video game in a northeast Las Vegas home.

Police Department Homicide Lt. Ray Spencer said that officers responded to a report of a shooting Thursday around 4:35 p.m.

Spencer said officers discovered the body of the boy with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Investigators believe several people had gone to the home to play a video game when an argument broke out and the boy was fatally shot.

Police say a 14-year-old suspect ran from the scene and was later arrested and booked on an open murder charge. An investigation is ongoing.
