The City of Henderson is offering assistance to people impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic through the new CARES Housing Assistance program.
Those who suffered "substantial financial hardship" due to COVID-19 and have limited income or resources to pay for housing can apply through their partner, HopeLink of Southern Nevada.
The program, with $1 million available, is modeled after one offered by Clark County.
The money will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
