UNLV Ranks Near Top In Campus Diversity Ranking

LAS VEGAS (AP) — An annual report has again put the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, near the top of its list of nation's most diverse campuses.

U.S. News & World Report's listing places UNLV third, behind the University of Hawaii-Hilo and Andrews University in Michigan. Rutgers University-Newark placed fourth.

The survey of 389 schools was based on 2019 enrollment. It came out Monday.

UNLV consistently ranks near the top in the U.S. News report.

Campus President Keith Whitfield told the Las Vegas Sun that diversity brings varied perspectives to research and classroom discussions, and strengthens the quality of the learning environment.
