Nevada Ballet Theater says it will not present its annual production of "The Nutcracker" this year.
The organization said in an email to supporters the troupe’s resident venue, the Smith Center, will be closed at least through the end of 2020.
The email says the cancellation “further compounds an expected organizational shortfall of over $2.6 million due to the suspension of productions, events and classes since March.”
