The City of Henderson has announced a grant program to help businesses hurt by the pandemic.
Businesses in the city with 20 or fewer full-time equivalent employees can apply to receive a grant between $2,500 and $10,000 with $1 million available.
The money is intended to be used for rent, utilities, payroll, inventory and license fees.
Businesses that haven’t received help from the federal government will be given priority, but even those that did can apply. The program is funded by the federal CARES Act. The deadline to apply is August 24.
