STATELINE, Nev. (AP) — Authorities are investigating a drowning at Lake Tahoe.

A South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue Team responded to a report of two men who became separated from their boat about 1.5 miles offshore at about 3:40 p.m. Monday.

The victim has not been identified. No other details have been released. Authorities say the tragic accident should serve as a reminder to all boaters to always wear a life jacket.
