BISHOP, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say a member of a Nevada search and rescure team fell to his death while climbing a mountain in California's Sierra Nevada.
The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says the body of 52-year-old Paul Sheykhzadeh of Reno was recovered Monday hundreds of feet below the top of Mount Humphreys.
The office says another climber saw Sheykhzadeh fall from large boulders Sunday along the western slope of the nearly 14,000-foot-high peak.
