Wynn Resorts will place some of its workers on furlough beginning this week.
A company spokesman told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that after keeping people on the payroll while their casinos were closed, the prospect of continued reduced business in Las Vegas means staffing cuts are necessary.
He did not say how many employees would be furloughed.
However, Circus Circus announced it is permanently laying off 252 employees, according to the RJ. The Tropicana has also announced layoffs.
