Clark County Expands Grant Programs For Small Businesses

Clark County has two new grant programs to assist small businesses affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Small Business Rental Assistance program provides up to $10,000 to help cover past-due rent while the Small Business Protective Retrofit Grant reimburses businesses up to $5,000 for expenses for COVIID-19 related safety measures.

To qualify, a business must have a Clark County license and 20 employees or fewer.

Funding comes from the federal CARES Act passed in March. Applications must be submittedbetween July 21 and August 4, with grants arriving as early as late August.
