Restaurants, hair salons and some of the other Nevada businesses that closed or had their operations reduced - to slow the spread of the coronavirus - reopened Saturday.
Gov. Steve Sisolak had said last Thursday that restaurants, salons, and other nonessential businesses could reopen Saturday with limited capacity. He said hospitalization rates and positive tests had stabilized.
Among the businesses that will not be re-opening in Phase One are casinos, nightclubs, gyms, and movie theaters.
