More Students Are Starting, Staying At UNLV

UNLV just registered more than 31,000 students and recorded a first-year retention rate of about 80 percent. 

 

Those are historic numbers for the university. 

  

But what’s behind it? We’re going to talk about some issues at Las Vegas’ university today with Chris Heavey, UNLV’s interim Vice President and Provost and Juanita Fain, UNLV’s Vice President for Student Affairs.
