Governor Steve Sisolak announced a halt to all evictions - both residential and commercial - while the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus is in effect.

Coronavirus: What You Need To Know

Sisolak made the announcement Sunday afternoon.

The order applies to evictions that were already being processed before the emergency was declared and for commercial buildings.

On March 16, the governor declared that casinos and all non-essential businesses close for 30 days. He also closed all schools in the state.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Nevada stands at 920 as of Sunday afternoon and 15 people have died.
