Caucus Volunteers Express Concerns About Upcoming Vote

While Nevada Democrats plan to use scannable paper ballots for early voting in the state’s caucuses, the state is facing many of the same organizational and technical challenges that caused numerous problems in Iowa’s caucuses earlier this month.

Reuters quotes volunteers who will be leading the February 22 caucuses as saying that key information has yet to be shared, including hands-on training with iPads being deployed to caucus sites and opportunities to try out a new “tool” that will be loaded onto the iPads and used during the caucus process.

Nevada Democrats were initially working with the same app developer used in Iowa but scrapped those plans after the company's app failed there.
