The former Lucky Dragon hotel, just off the Las Vegas Strip has re-opened as the Ahern Hotel.
Its new owner, Don Ahern, bought the site for $36 million last April. The rooms have been redecorated and are open for business.
But the property’s casino remains closed with no plans to bring it back.

That space will instead be used eventually for restaurants and convention space. The Lucky Dragon opened in November 2016 and the owner’s filed for bankruptcy in February 2018.
