UNR Students To Move Out Of Circus Circus Tower

The University of Nevada Reno and Eldorado Resorts say a tower at Circus Circus Reno will soon be used for its original purpose again.

UNR students have been staying there after being displaced by an explosion on campus.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports the building will resume its use as hotel rooms after the university’s lease expires in May.

The school has decided not to renew the $21.6 million agreement to house 1,300 students. Two UNR dormitories were damaged and several people were injured by a “catastrophic” boiler failure on campus last summer.
