After more than a year and $100 million upgrading restaurants, guest rooms, the casino floor and more, The Strat in Las Vegas is nearing the end of its renovation and renaming project.
Golden Entertainment representatives told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the work aims to encourage guests to stay longer at the 24-story hotel and its landmark tower and observation platform high above the Las Vegas Strip.
The company bought the property in October 2017 and began renovations in mid-2018. It renamed the property The Strat Hotel, Casino and SkyPod a year ago.
