Authorities say a 75-year-old woman was struck and killed by a transit bus while crossing a street in a marked crosswalk at an intersection.
Police say the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada bus was making a left turn when it struck the woman late Wednesday night.
According to police, the woman was knocked down and the bus rolled over her. She was pronounced dead at a hospital. Her identity wasn't released. Police say the incident remains under investigation.
