Man Jailed In Las Vegas After Multiple Crashes, Pedestrian Death

A motorist is facing multiple charges including felony driving under the influence causing death after Las Vegas police say he drove away from one crash, ran a red light and struck and killed a pedestrian at another intersection, and ran from police after crashing again.

 

Records showed 41-year-old Stephen Huddleston was held Monday at the Clark County jail pending an initial court appearance.

He was arrested Sunday after police say he ran from a BMW 540i that struck a light pole off busy Boulder Highway. Authorities didn't immediately identify the 46-year-old Las Vegas woman who died after she was hit.
