The Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has appointed Heidi Swank as the administrator of the department’s new Nevada Division of Outdoor Recreation.
Swank is a former anthropology professor at UNLV and a current state legislator from Nevada District 16 in the Assembly.
Swank’s job will involve developing and promoting Nevada’s outdoor recreation economy.
