The University of Nevada Las Vegas plays at home against their rivals the University of Nevada, Reno Thursday night on the Strip, not the football field.
As part of a back-to-school event, HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas will host the two schools’ esports teams as they go head-to-head in League of Legends, Rocket League and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.
The exhibition matches will be the centerpiece of an event that also includes tournament gameplay open to the general public.
