LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a construction worker working on a patio at a Las Vegas home has died after a structure collapsed on him.
Authorities say the accident occurred around 2 p.m. Sunday near Robindale Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.
Lt. Chris Holmes says other crew members removed debris and found his body.
Clark County firefighters used tools to lift more of the wreckage but pronounced him dead.
Holmes says the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will look into what caused the structure to fall.
The worker's name has not been released.
