Washoe County Commissioner Kitty Jung made comments about Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District employees that violated the county's sexual harassment and discrimination policies.
Public records obtained by the Reno Gazette-Journal indicate that an independent investigation of allegations filed in April substantiated that Jung made inappropriate comments to two employees, some involving TMFPD Chief Charles Moore.
The county is recommending that Jung retake the discrimination and harassment training and "refrain from engaging in similar conduct in the future."
