Rapper Meek Mill Claims Racism In Las Vegas Dayclub Incident

Accounts differ over an incident Saturday afternoon at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where the rapper Meek Mill was turned away by security.

In a series of Twitter messages Saturday night, Mill contends that he was turned away because he is a black rap artist.

On Monday the Cosmopolitan issued a statement saying that Marquee Dayclub, the club Mills sought to enter, was at Clark County fire-code capacity Saturday afternoon.

Mills, in turn, posted a video on his Twitter page. In the video Cosmopolitan security doesn’t say anything about capacity issues in turning him away, telling Mills that if he gets out of his vehicle he’d be considered to be trespassing.
