Henderson, Golden Knights To Build Hockey Center

The Henderson City Council approved bringing a Vegas Golden Knights community ice arena to downtown.

In a vote Tuesday, the council voted in favor of an agreement that would bring the hockey facility to Water Street. It would go where the Henderson Convention Center now stands and cost about $25 million.

In addition to activities such as tournaments, youth camps, and lessons, the arena would provide a second practice facility for the Knights.
