Allegiant Air has filed to trademark Allegiant Stadium with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
The company said in a statement the purpose of the filing was to protect the trademark for any future uses.
Allegiant said the stadium trademark is not tied to the stadium in Las Vegas currently being built to house the Raiders, but it did confirm it has had talks with the Raiders about sponsorship opportunities.
The Las Vegas-based airline is also featured on the ice at T-Mobile Arena and has a multiyear partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights as the official domestic airline partner of the Vegas Golden Knights.
Allegiant is also a sponsor of the Las Vegas Aviators.
