LAS VEGAS (AP) — The bright lights of Las Vegas' Fremont Street Experience will be even brighter.
KTNV-TV reports a $32 million makeover for the four-block sidewalk pedestrian mall known for its LED-lighted canopy is expected to get under way early Monday.
The upgrade is expected to make the Viva Vision canopy lights seven times brighter with four times the resolution.
Viva Vision will also have new digital content and be interactive with visitors.
Fremont Street Experience CEO Patrick Hughes says more than 23 million people visit the canopy every year.
