Fewer Than 5% Of Southern Nevadans Vote Early In Primaries
The Clark County Elections Department says Southern Nevada saw a lower-than-5% turnout for early voting before Tuesday’s municipal primary elections. Of the 560-thousand eligible voters in Southern Nevada, fewer than 24-thousand participated in the two weeks of early voting.
Council races are on the ballot in Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City, with Las Vegas and Boulder City voting for mayor as well.
Voters can still cast ballots on Tuesday, April 2.
A list of polling places is available at the elections department website.
The general election is on June 11th.
