Gillibrand To Tour Las Vegas Immigration Clinic, Meet Voters

LAS VEGAS (AP) — New York senator and Democratic presidential candidate Kirsten Gillibrand will tour an immigration clinic at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and meet with voters at a downtown bar on Thursday.

The visits Gillibrand announced Wednesday will be her first appearances in Nevada since kicking off her 2020 campaign for the White House.

The clinic she's touring at UNLV in the afternoon helps immigrants renew their protections from deportation under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program and assists refugee children seeking asylum.
