Grand Canyon Officials Investigating Possible Radiation Exposure

Grand Canyon National Park officials are looking into whether any visitors to the park could have been subjected to possible radiation exposure.

Officials say they are investigating whether anyone was exposed to radiation at unsafe levels while samples of uranium ore sat in plastic buckets in a park research building.

The buckets were stored near a building that houses the park’s archives and artifacts near the South Rim.
