Governor Names Bulla To 3-Member Nevada Court Of Appeals

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A longtime state court evidence commissioner in Las Vegas is due to be sworn in March 4 as a judge on the Nevada Court of Appeals.

Gov. Steve Sisolak last week named Bonnie Bulla to serve the remaining two years of the term left when Judge Abbi Silver was elected to the Nevada Supreme Court.

Bulla joins judges Jerry Tao and Michael Gibbons on the three-member appeals court.

Bulla has served since January 2007 as discovery chief for Clark County District Courts.

She's been a member of the Nevada Bar since 1987 and is past president of the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys.

She was a recipient last year of the Clark County Law Foundation Liberty Bell Award.
