Pop star and Oscar favorite Lady Gaga, who’s slated to perform on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas, kicked off her “Enigma” residency Friday.
Gaga is nominated for Screen Actors Guild, Golden Globe and Grammy awards for her performance in “A Star Is Born.” Her concert schedule includes time off that will allow trips to those awards ceremonies in January and February.
Oscar predictions have Lady Gaga taking home her first statuette for her 2018 starring role.
Academy Award nominees will be announced January 22.
