LAS VEGAS (AP) — Youth activists urging reform of gun laws are holding a summit in Las Vegas at the end of the month to teach young people how to lobby officials and organize.
The summit organized by March for Our Lives Las Vegas will be held on the Las Vegas Strip on Sept. 29 and 30. Organizers announced the event Monday but did not yet have a location.

Karl Catarata with March for Our Lives Las Vegas says the group wants to help youth learn how to get involved.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the group is also planning to hold candidate forums before the midterm elections in November.
