Gaming CEO Cancels Madden NFL Events Following Shooting

The CEO of the video game company that publishes Madden NFL football games says the company is canceling remaining Madden Classic qualifying events.

The decision comes after last Sunday’s shooting at a qualifying event in Jacksonville.

USA Today reports that EA CEO Andrew Wilson said Monday in a statement that the company plans to review safety protocols for competitors and spectators before any further events are held.
