A former employee of Tesla – who is facing a lawsuit from the automaker - has filed a counterclaim.
Martin Tripp of Sparks is countersuing Tesla for what he calls false and defamatory statements about him, including accusations from Tesla CEO Elon Musk that Tripp sabotaged their operations.
Last month, Tesla filed a lawsuit against Tripp, accusing him of hacking into computers at the company's battery factory near Reno and taking confidential information.
