Philly Based Venture Capital Firm Invested In VSIN

SeventySix Capital, a venture capital firm based in suburban Philadelphia, has a strategic investment in Vegas Stats & Information Network, the Las Vegas-based media network that covers sports betting news.

The Philadelphia Daily News reports that a spokesperson for SeventySix Capital declined to disclose the amount of the investment, but said it was within the range of $250,000 to $1 million.

The investment reflects the expansion of legal sports gambling across the country after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a federal ban earlier this year.  Sports betting parlors have already opened in New Jersey casinos and racetracks.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
