The University of Nevada, Reno said a $10 million fee appearing on tuition bills this week was a mistake.
University officials said in a statement the mistake happened over the weekend when a fee calculated by a computer maxed itself out and added the fee for those signing up for an online course.
The fee wound up on about 3,400 student bills.
