The Ferguson Fire near Yosemite National Park is continuing to affect air quality in Carson City.
The Nevada Appeal reports that Carson City's air quality Thursday morning was at the "unhealthy" level, although the Nevada Department of Environmental Protection expects conditions to improve today and through the weekend.
More than 2,000 firefighters are currently working the 17,000-plus acre fire burning in Mariposa County, Calif. The fire remains only about five percent contained.
